Choice of Fellowship time or Instruction for Adults
Fall 2017 Adult Instructional Offerings: (Begins Sept. 3)
(1) Surveyors: Paul’s letters to The Quarryvillians — Read the Bible for all it’s
worth. Presently receiving the Apostle’s letters from a Roman prison: to the Ephesians,
the Colossians, his friend Philemon, and the Philippians. Old, young, and in between
are invited to learn and grow in Christ, in The Faith, and in your faith. Meeting from
Sept. 3rd through end of Nov. in the Chart Room (211).
(2) “Going Deeper”— An opportunity to further explore the Scripture that was
preached. Were there questions you had as you listened? Would you like to get ideas
on how to apply what you just learned? Is there something that never occurred to you
before, and you’re interested in probing further? Join together in the Sanctuary to help
each other become doers as well as hearers of the Word.
(3) Holiness — What is the role of good works in this life? If I’m saved by grace, why
are works important? Why is it so hard to do what is right and put off sin? How do I
grow in holiness? How does God work in my growth as a Christian? What is the role
of grace in sanctification? Join Pastor Andy as we explore this important, and often
neglected, process of growing up in every way into Jesus Christ. Room 214.
